Randi Jeanne Nidich, EdD

Randi Jeanne Nidich, EdD, is co-director and senior researcher at the Center for Social-
Emotional Health and Consciousness, and Adjunct Professor of Education at Maharishi
University of Management. She is a leading expert in Consciousness-based education. Research
projects have included investigating the effects of Transcendental Meditation on social-emotional
competencies, academic achievement, and moral development in middle and high school
students, teacher burnout and perceived stress, and trauma and other psychological distress
factors in women prison inmates. She is currently an investigator on the Albania women’s prison
project on trauma, funded by the David Lynch Foundation, and the current high school academic
and stress study, funded by the Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education.
